Always the Last to Know!

Well, here's an interesting tidbit.....

I find out this morning (RIGHT BEFORE I WALK OUT THE DOOR!!) that Tidbit's Mommy may be flying in.......TOMORROW.

Yes, you heard me - tomorrow. Apparently the Washington State truck is in the shop, so Hubby has flown back to WA (and his Mommy????) to get it fixed before Friday. If he is unable to do so, Tidbit's Mommy will fly straight here TOMORROW and he will drive cross country with the dog when the truck gets fixed.

This is a lot going on in a short short time. Lord help me do the right thing for everybody - including me.

Country activitites

Last nite the granddaughter (here fore out known as 'Tidbit') and I went to dinner while PawPaw was gone to the car sale. We went to Wendy's (loaded chili potato - yum) and afterwards decided to scope out the new Walgreens. My gosh, we've waited so long! What a treat! As we circled the block, Tidbit (who's a military brat) exclaims (please read the following in a soft Yankee low-talking lisp), "You know what I like about living in the 'country'? There are so many activities!" Now we have treated this delightful Yankee to church, WalMart, a lot of eating out and now the new Walgreens. Ahh, country living. It's the life!

And it all began.....

All right - here we go...Dixie Joy's Daily Dose. Just a ladylike way to say 'Southern Comfort Happy Juice' which is what I feel like I need most days - a big ol' shot of Southern Comfort. But I'm Baptist and we all know Baptists don't drink - not out in the open. I haven't made the site pretty yet - don't want to take company time for that. We'll see how these written updates go - we're just a week away from the Squatters Thanksgiving. There'll be steps and squatters and shitters galore.
